Slaves to the Grave Tour

I hadn’t intended to see a show in Boston on a Friday night, rather was hoping to attend one the next day, but I grabbed tickets online to the eventual sold out show featuring Deceased.

Due to the hurried nature of the decision and the longer drive up to Boston, we didn’t make it right on time and ended up part of the way through Rampant Decay. Luckily they were doing some newer material, and I was able to get a few videos.

In attendance was

Felipe from Acaro and Seth from A.C. The crowds were a good size for the venue, and there was a good support for the bands. Kingsley King from Deceased gave us a nice welcome and put on a great show.

The lighting at O’Briens is terrible and doesn’t lend itself to photos at all. Most of the stage is dark, and then there is one primary spotlight that washes out whomever is standing under it. So it’s near impossible to get a good shot of the whole band, and even closeups are tough since the lighting changes so much if they walk from out of the central area. Sound was also very loud on the instruments, but the vocals could barely be heard. Overall a pretty bad night to record, but a fun show to attend.
